Lelightgo kit bringing these landmarks to life ✨✨✨
Las Vegas was the first light kit I purchased for any of my Lego sets. Unfortunately, one of the Bellagio fountain lights did not work (a short in the bulb…*NOTE that it was not damaged from mishandling) but I reached out to the customer service department with some pictures of the faulty bulb and they responded quickly and mailed me a new one. Now that I have all of the lights hooked up, it really looks awesome…GAME CHANGER!!
At first I was hesitant about the wires of the light kit and while they are definitely very thin, if you are careful they are just fine. By no means do you have to be a surgeon, they are not that difficult to work with, you just have to be careful. The next concern was the visibility of the wires and where to run them. Sure they are visible but if you take your time you can tuck them behind bricks and route them in places that are relatively discrete. Unfortunately, the wires will be visible, it’s not perfect, but for me the payoff of seeing Vegas lit up is worth it. The last concern was whether or not the bricks would snap together…unfortunately if you have to run a wire under a brick it will not snap together in the tight “Lego” fashion and if you press the bricks together tightly you will probably crimp the wire and create a short in the lights. That being said, similar to the visibility of the wires, if you take your time and snap the block together as tight as possible within reason, the gap is visible but not horrible and once again the payoff of the lights far outweighs the gaps.
