With this version, you will be able to change the spotlight light using a controller (up to 20 colors) / use multiple lighting effects. The classic version comes with fewer lights. Please see the pictures and video in order to understand the difference.

Lights

I am still in the process of assembling because on line instructions are confusing. A manual would be easier. lego recently asked customers what they thought of their idea to eliminate their instruction manuals and go digital. The response was so negative , they dropped the idea. If lego ever goes digital, I will never buy another lego set.

Great kit

I love the light kit. Only issue I had was some of the instructions were not very clear, and the video of the instructions were even more difficult to follow. I did eventually get everything done, just wish the instructions were a little more clear
