If you want tocontrol the lights, get a special sound kit, then it's best to get theRemote + Sound. However, Remote + Sound,Remote,andStandard versions are a wonder to behold at the same time as they come with the same lights. Remote + Soundand Remoteversion come with multiple lighting effects + light can be controlled separately using 6 areas.The Standard versioncomes with a wireless power connection for each floor.
Note: Only the Standard Version comes with a wireless connection to each floor but the Remote + Soundand Remoteversion are not wireless to each floor.

I have purchased other lights in the past with no luck on installing or at most keeping lego's together. This was pretty straight forward and for the most part easy to install on a already built lego set. I would like to see additional lights that can customize sets a bit more but for the most part this is a good start. Also had one issue with one step, I emailed the support team and they were able to walk me through my mistake very easily.
